About us

Little Villagers Pre-School, Windlesham, was founded in 2006.  It is located within the grounds of Woodcote House School based in Surrey.  Although it runs independently from Woodcote House School it benefits from its beautiful grounds and some of its facilities. 

Little Villagers Pre-School provides a high quality early years experience for girls and boys between the age of two to five years.  This is offered within a caring, secure and enabling environment which allows children to develop as individuals.  We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage where children participate in exciting play allowing them to discover the world around them, covering all areas of learning as they play, develop, explore and learn at their own pace.

Our pre-school is run from a new purpose-built building where we can separate the children by ages between two spacious classrooms. We also have easy access to our outside classroom, which is located immediately behind our building in a lovely woodland setting, leading into our enclosed playground. 

All the staff are highly trained and experienced in Early Years and passionate about what they do. 

Preparing children for their next steps is crucial, and our aim is to make the start of their Early Years journey not only fun but memorable, enjoyable and beneficial.

We are fortunate to have access to the stunning grounds of Woodcote House School and we regularly explore and take nature walks within them. We have use of their main hall for Music and Movement and physical activity sessions during the week.  We hold our annual Nativity Play in the school hall and our Sports Day in the beautiful grounds at the end of our summer term.

Little Villagers Pre-School is owned and managed by Karen Henderson-Williams who has successfully established and run other quality pre-schools in the area for many years. Karen and her highly experienced team have a wealth of knowledge and experience in Early Years.

Quality Improvement Award

In July 2014 Little Villagers Pre-School successfully completed the Surrey Early Years Quality Improvement award. This award covered all aspects of the day to day running of the Pre-School.  We continue to constantly monitor and improve our practice enabling us to offer the highest standards of Early Years Education to all.
