Protect your 2-and 3-year-old children from flu with nasal spray vaccine now available at local pharmacies too
From Wednesday 1 October, parents of 2- and 3-year-olds can now get their child's free flu nasal spray not just at their GP practice, but also at local pharmacies that offer the service.
This safe, painless nasal spray is a simple way to help protect your child from flu and serious complications like bronchitis and pneumonia. It also helps protect vulnerable family members and reduces the chance of you needing to take time off work due to illness.
Local pharmacist Jay Amin says:
“We know how busy parents are, so we’re really pleased to be able to offer the flu nasal spray for 2- and 3-year-olds right here at the pharmacy. It’s quick, gentle, and you don’t need an injection. It’s just one small step that can make a big difference to your child’s health this winter.”
You can still book at your GP practice or pop into your local pharmacy if that’s easier.
